A community based Organisation

We opened on 29th September 2014, and to date our roll stands at 120 children aged between 3 and 9 years. This age level will grow as we introduce new class streams at the start of each new year.

We have a staff of 8; led by our wonderful Director Tony Ngotho.

The school is set up as a Community Based Organisation Project directed by Tony and supported by his staff and a Committee of 15 people, made up of various members of the community and relevant government agencies.

The school is a fully registered, officially recognised learning institution in Kenya, and follows the national curriculum.   However no funding from the Kenyan government is given,  therefore the school relies very heavily on sponsorship and donations.

In 2017, a registered charity was established in New Zealand.  Education Is A Shield Trust, set up for the purpose of providing financial support to the school.
